Our eclectic collection has been established to cater for afternoon tea for up to 120 people and consists of a unique mix of original crockery and accessories ranging from the Victorian era to the gorgeous florals of the 1940's & 50's.
Each piece has been individually sourced in England from antique markets and auctions, making the collection unique and authentic as the china is no longer manufactured and cannot be replaced.
We have a large selection of vintage teacups and saucers, plates, milk jugs, sugar bowls, teapots, cake stands, dessert bowls, hand embroidered tablecloths, napkins and hand made bunting which look wonderful when mismatched together, creating the truly nostalgic feel of a vintage English tea party.
The company was set up by ex pat Alice Goldie Hendry who has always had a love of all things vintage and has spent many happy hours over the years scouring for her treasure. Alice had a vintage china hire company back in the UK, and her move to Oakville saw the launch of the Canadian branch of the company, Vintage China Hire.ca in March 2011. The season has been extremely successful for Vintage China Hire and Alice has now entrusted the company into the safe hands of her good pal and fellow Brit, Vanessa Douglas following Alice's return back to the UK.
